It is not the educated white middle class that are suffering.
It is the poor who need our concern and compassion. Always have, always will. The divide between the haves and the have-nots is expanding at an ever-increasing rate, and is fueled by access to technology by households with high levels of discretionary income.
If you have not found a way to make being educated, white, and middle class work to your advantage, you have certainly had more opportunities than those who have never had the good fortune of being white, educated, or middle class.
