Re: In my Bible,

beej,

All the scriptures you quoted pertain to Israel, not to the Church.

The Jews are not at this time under the New Covenant, they havn't accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, so how can the New Covenant pertain to them now? It doesn't.

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

{{For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second}}. Hebrews 6:6,7

The New Covenant is based on an inner, spiritual change. It's not written on stone but in their hearts, and it's followers are those that {{{know the Lord}}}. God will one day fulfill the New Covenant with Israel and in which the church participates soteriologically today. As heirs of Christ's kingdom, the church partakes of the New Covenant's spiritual blessings today and will in the future share in its fulfillment with Israel.

The book of Galatians has been called the Christians "Magna Carta" from the law.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Gal.6:2

For if a man think himself to be something when he is nothing he decieveth himself. (v.3).

As we have oportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of the faith. (v.10).
