Re: The institutionalized church?

Your ideas sound false for many reasons, mainly there are currently over 2200 different sects of christianity in NOrth America.    The number may even be higher as christian based cults tend to operate quietly, either by design or as a byproduct of their geographic isolation.   These sects range from millons of followers to smaller sects of dozens, each crying out against what they each consider ungodly practices as they interpret them.   Each of them (like you) resolute in that their interpretation is the correct one, and all others are wrong.

The very number of sects, indicates to me that it is now easier than it has ever been to question, and go against any particular doctrine.   Hell, as long as you find some group to follow you, you can set up your own church, and start preaching that they have it wrong and you have it right.   Much like you do now.
