As I mentioned earlier, people have only chosen to believe that Jesus travelled to India because they do NOT want to believe that He died on the cross. The earthly attitude towards accepting a gift is that we automatically feel beholden and obligated to the gift giver (the human reaction is that we feel defensive and beholden about salvation), therefore, the world is full of stories to deny the gospel.
