In opposition to the India theory read Matthew 15:22-28 - He did say that He came for the lost sheep of Israel and wasn't going to heal a gentile woman's daugher because of it. She exhibited such great faith that He did heal her after all, but He made His mission clear. He was there at that time for Israel.

After His resurrection the deciples and followers of Jesus were persecuted by the Jewish leaders. At first they only shared the gospell with other Jews. After some time the Lord released the Jews to share the truth with gentiles. They eventually began spreading the word throughout the gentile communities. There is no evidence in the word that supports even remotely a trip to India in His earthly life. Tweet
