Re: Does that mean I'm possessed or have been possessed?

I used to experience an unexplainable body shaking as well, just like Mikey described, and it would happen while I was completely awake and just had gotten into bed, it wasn't violent shaking or even very noticable, but I would feel it and it was somewhat strange, like my insides couldn't settle down. At first I thought it was the whole bed shaking or trembling which scared me but then I realized it wasn't the bed, it was just me. I consoled myself with just thinking "ok it's probably just my body settling into the bed" and I would try to overlook it but I used to be scared by it... When I was younger, maybe 17, I could swear I felt my bed shaking a few times. One time it happened while I was awake and it totally scared me and freaked me out, it didn't last long but it was definitely noticable. Another time it happened while I was sleeping and I jumped out of the bed sooo fast because I got so scared I thought my bed was possessed and since the lights were off I ran to go turn them on and I slammed my foot on one of those huge industrial nail-like staples that had come off of the wall carpet and was bent out of shape making it like an inch long (my room was being remodeled at the time), the entire staple went into my foot and I started screaming because of the pain and I was gushing blood all over the floor, later I tried to console myself that the shaking was probably just a dream, which for all I know it probably was... Around the time of these "bed shaking" and "body shaking" I had moved into my parents basement. What was weird was that in the entire time I lived in the basement (about 3 years) I never once experienced these things, and you would think a dark freaky basement would be a breeding ground for these events. Eventually years later I moved back into that original room and these things started happening again every once in a while. Then there's these "heat episodes" which I can't even begin to explain, that feel like I'm convulsing or having some kind of seizure, and honestly I have to say I was scared I might be possessed... very bizarre... A few years later I moved into a new house completely and the "heat episodes" would happen a few times in the beginning year that I was there. Several times in a night, several nights in a week. Sometimes while I was completely alone. The odd thing is that I was only scared by these episodes while they were actually happening, as soon as they passed I was no longer scared nor did I even attempt to get up to turn on the light, I would just go straight back to sleep... I would be lying if I said your suggestions (Mikey as well as Ptree) of paranormal out of body experience didn't scare the crap out of me. Could that be it??? I think it's strange that I never felt the bed shaking in the basement at all for those years... I never felt a weird presence or felt a ghost or felt haunted in any of these homes or rooms, so I'm perplexed as to why these things are happening. by the way a few weeks ago my brother (who sleeps in room next to mine) said he experienced for the first time some kind of wierd thing in his sleep where he couldn't move or scream, I'm not sure if it was preceeded by above average heat and body convulsions along with a vaccuum-like phenomena, I'll ask him and let you guys know... I used to tell myself these things were only manifestations because I watched too many horror movies and read too much horror books... but what could it be? by the way my name is cathy... in response to mikey's post: I dont' want to experience it and I dont' want to invite it because I'm scared of where it may lead.
