Wierd problem, hard to explain, what could it be?

I don't know how to explain this problem I've had (actually I haven't had it in a while fortunately but it used to be frequent). Sometimes while I'm sleeping I get these wierd "fits" or "episodes". I don't know what to call them. I'm in bed sleeping, but I'm at that point of the sleep where I'm almost awake and I'm aware of my surroundings and I know that I'm actually awake, and I'll all of a sudden feel really hot like it's over 200 degrees and I'll feel like I'm being pulled INTO the bed (if you can picture it it's like a vaccuum under the bed pulling me in) I can't move at all even though I'm desperately trying to kick and scream for help because I'm really scared, and I have no voice and can't form words (I can barely make out some sounds--my family has said they heard me making wierd noises but incoherent) and I can't move, my legs and arms and body feel like lead and I'm still being pulled with extreme force into the bed and it's sooo hot. and I'll have these wierd kind of vibrations starting from my head going to my toes, that make me squirm (even though I can't move) and make me uncomfortable, almost like a tickling but more violent. (In real life I have this kind of "tickling" sensitivity in my right ear and have had it since I was a child, in fact I can't sleep on my left side with my right ear exposed or have someone whisper into that ear because it is too uncomfortable for my ear, it'll be like a wierd tickling sensation starting from my right ear ending in my right thigh, and I'll start to squirm, I dont' know what it's called) but in these "episodes" these sensitive vibrations are through my whole body starting from the top of my head. If you can picture this it's all happening at the same time, and I'm sleeping but I'm kind of awake and aware that it's going on and I want to fight it off and get up or scream for help but it's like I'm drugged with sleep. Then it will suddenly pass... It will seem like the vaccuum was turned off, the heat was shut off, the vibrations stopped. I feel like I want to get up because I'm scared, but I'm still drugged with sleep so I'll just fall asleep again and then it will happen all over again. Sometimes 3 times a night, and sometimes every single time I go to bed... As I stated this hasn't happened in a while thank God but what is it and what could it be???
