It was a bowel formula with senna the really hurt me, but when I went to the Cascara Sagrada formulas the problem continued. I have to disagree that lbb is a food, I have heard both Dr. Schulze and Barefoot make that claim, but both senna and Cascara Sagrada are drugs and are used as such. They work by irritating the colon and stimulating peristalsis to get rid of the irritation. Neither herb is something that anyone would take unless they were constipated or needed to stimulate elimination, like the parasite cleanses that contain it. Abused, herbal laxatives are just as like to cause dependence as chemical laxatives. Using it occasionally is fine, I might even borrow your idea of eating bad and taking something to speed things up. However, my idea of eating bad is a cheeseburger, I have a feeling yours is two oranges. I'm a long way from fruitarian and really have no desire to give up veggies and the occasional no-no.
