Re: Mr. Cooties

Well I've always said to let people speak their minds and opinions and let others decide for themselves on who to believe. Who am I to decide for someone else?

That however was concerning honest opinions. This event was neither honest nor founded on opinion. And the difference is that I am not trying to decide for others here, I am pointing out a factual error. I am not trying to protect people from their own judgment, I am trying to lay the facts out so the facts can be judged fairly. Any expert in the dental field knows about different filling materials and how strong they are and how long they last. A dental expert telling a patient that a composite is as strong and lasts as long as metal fillings is going beyond opinion.

What is the motive/intent? If I sold a Liver Flush tonic and stated that the human body has two gall bladders, this is a grossly factual error that means I am either grossly uninformed and thus have no business giving that advice, or I am grossly stretching the truth to try to con someone into believing me for my benefit (and thus at their expense).

I'm not worried too much about being banned because I don't get too personal with attacks and such. I'm attacking the message Torrie gave but I don't believe I am attacking her personally. I guess that is a matter of opinion so who knows?
