Re: Ulcerative Colitis Cure - Vitamin E Enema & Diet
hello Sheldon,
update: The end of my third week on the diet and vitamin E enemas. Stool is formed! I haven't seen it in this way for more than a year!!! I do not see any blood. Still a lot of gas. I think i have found an explanation for the irritation feeling. I go to the bathroom once a day. I think i may need to go twice a day once in the morning and once at night. If i do not go in the morning i have the feeling like i want to go the bathroom but i can hold it in. It is not like the urgency feeling when you have diarrhea.
After a while of thinking about the cause of that irritation feeling i think i found a reasonable explanation. I was sitting on my chair without moving. When i turned my body to the right, like scratching, i felt the irritation. I gave up exercises for a couple days to see what happens. Guess what, the irritation feeling is not that intensive as it used to be and sometimes it is not there anymore. The feeling increases when i do exercises or have a not formed stool. It seems like the colon is healing and there may be a scab or scabs on top of the ulcers. When the scab is pulled or it is dissolved in unformed stool then I get the feeling.
The diet is doing just fine. I haven’t eaten so much veggies in my life. I think i am not losing any weight anymore. I eat four or five meals a day and all of them are with veggies. I will wait a little more before i buy the test to check blood in stool. I just want to give it more time to heal. Vitamin E enemas are doing fine. I take all the vitamins and i am tapering the meds. I eat yogurt twice a day and i take good probiotic pills. If i didn’t have the gases then i would say that colitis is not a problem anymore.
I am just wondering if soy milk is fine. I would like to use it with some of my food. I have taken your advice and i eat barley. It would taste good with soy milk
