Re: Ulcerative Colitis Cure - Vitamin E Enema & Diet

hey Sheldon,

Thanks for all the responses.

update: doing just fine. This is the beginning of my third week on the diet. Stool becomes more and more formed. One trip a day to the bathroom. It is really hard to tell now if i have any blood. I still have gases and the feeling of irritation.

Before i started the procedure i was a very active man. Jogging and other sports were my way of living. Now, i am a little confused if i can do any sports except walking, can't i?

I know, honey does not have any fat but it has a lot of calories. I want to increase my calories intake so i will not lose any weight anymore. It seems like veggies and low fat diet do not keep up with my fast metabolism rate. So far my only source of calories is chicken, fish and olive oil. I try to add the oil to all my meals. I also make my own yogurt and i add honey for the taste. Is Sugar fine for the diet? if so, how much Sugar can i consume a day?

Can you also check my yesterday's menu and tell me if my diet is fine and what kind of modifications can i add to it so i will get as much as i can from food?

breakfast: one chicken breast, veggies: carrots, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, cabbage, one glass of water and the drugs,

later during the day i had a vegetable soup,

lunch: fish and the same veggies like i had for breakfast plus one cup of water

later a coup of yogurt with honey,

thanks,
kamkos
