Thanks for posting your story about UC. I am wondering, I know that Sheldon says no fruit . . . . when did you start adding fruit back to your diet? Are your UC symptoms completely gone? Did you feel like it was mostly the enemas, diet or both that helped you so much. I am currently following the diet (no grains though) but not doing the enemas and am wondering how much they really are a part of healing. I know that the diet helps me tremendously but would love to get back to fruit. Did you do any probiotics? Looking for solutions for both myself and my 6 yo daughter, as we both have UC. Thanks for any information and thanks again for your encouraging post . . .I wish more people would do that!
