You need to get out before you turn into a human pretzel, or return to booze for relief from the stress. You do not have a marriage that has a healthy foundation. It is a relationship founded on need and mutual explotation. She needed and wanted a home which was controlled by her but paid for by someone else, and you needed a woman to make you feel valuable and whole. You, in effect, transfered you dependence on alcohol to a dependence on her as the supplier "love". How did it work out? You need to get back to AA and do the program again -listen to that piece of wisdom that says not to have a serious committed relationship for several years.There is a reason behind that thinking - go find it. I do wish you a good life , but try to unravel your underlying needs and demons -they are driving you into poor life choices....John. Tweet
