You may be right -I may be a crackpot ! However YOU are the one with a life which is out of control,a wife who treats you like a piece of chicken shit, a counselor who has no clue and a whole lot of "understanding" people on this forum who also will get down in the pit with you and tell you a lot of feeble crap. Like Dr Phil says" Based on results, how is your life working for you?" You wife shows no signs of WANTING to be your wife - she has serious problems around power and control issues. So how is your going to counseling going to change HER? Is she willing to go and confront her issues? Tell me again-how is it possible to "love" someone who treats you the way she treats you?
What you feel is not love, it is some bizarre, neurotic infatuation. Anyway, do you think that she loves you? If the answer to that is YES,then why does she treats you like she hates you ?If the answer is NO, then why are you staying with her. Get out before you start sneaking "just one".
