I am so sorry to hear of your son's death. That must have been a very hard time in your life, and for many years there after.

I came from a dysfunctional family...did not even know it until I got into 12 step programs about 13 years ago. They made no bones about informing me what a normal family is supposed to be and I was truly amazed. It sounds like you also had to do a lot of inside work on your self. It is wonderful that you want your children to have a better child hood that you did. As I am sure you know, many people that have survived a childhood of abuse, neglect and lack of love raise their children the same way. It is all that they know. Your children are fortunate to have a good mother !

I cannot imagine the pain you had with a broken back. How long ago did that happen if you dont mind me asking ?

I actually scrape my tongue with a knife. I have done it for years. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I can see that you are well on your way to your healing road. Thanks for sharing it here with us all at curezone. Keep up the good work and keep posting.
