What is your education level and what are your job qualifications? Do you have any health issues? Do you have any freinds who are not associated with your mother? You mentioned voodoo...is your ancestry Haitian or somewhere where voodoo is prevalent?


I suspect there may be some jealousy going on here. Do you feel that your mother doesn't want you to get ahead because it makes her feel left behind?
Why do you feel people are convinced that your mother is trustworthy and you aren't?
Have you done things in your past that have eroded your credibility?
