Re: Clarification on Mother Mary
"I think you may be confusing Traditional Catholicism with the so-called Goddess Movement within the general field of the New Age Movement. Traditional Catholicism never worshipped Mary."
IMHO,you say Catholics don't worship the mother Mary, but isn't that what the Hail Mary thing is about? It seems to me that Catholics put too much emphasis on Mary, like she's Jesus. They do it to the Pope as well. No one but Jesus can save us, and putting someone before Him is wrong. There are many scriptural references to attest to that fact. For instance, the Ten Commandments say don't put any other Gods before me(which includes worshipping a person such as Mary or the Pope). God says He is a jealous God. We aren't supposed to put people up like they're divine, or something. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Also,(I can't remember the book and verse right now, I think it's in the book of Romans) No one is good, not one, except God in Heaven.
