Sharon, I agree with you 100% I also was raised roman catholic and the catholic doctrine also prays for the dead and prays to the saints which is not Bible doctrine. Matt:6:7-13 The Lords Prayer is the only One to pray to. And ask of the Father for your needs. I also did not know about being saved by grace or born again and I even went a catholic school. I feel they did not teach saving grace or born again is because of their purgatory doctrine. We were told that we were roman catholic.
