I thought Islam was in the running for the Worldwide church. Or it could be China's Three Self Patriotic Movement. All of which deny any form that Jesus is the Messiah or that there is even God.

In teaching my children at home, this year we decided to use the charter school. I was disappointed to see that in the social studies books, 3 whole chapters are dedicated to teaching our children about Islam. Even the Catholic church isn't brought up as much as Islam. Bible stories are credited as merely a "legend", and sometimes, stories that you would find in the bible are twisted slightly to conform to the beliefs of those who wrote them. There are a couple of pages that touch lightly on Christianity and we haven't gotten to those pages yet. We are reading about Egypt which is where I found one of the Biblical stories twisted around a bit. None of it giving credit to God or to God's instrument, Joseph.

I think you are right in saying we need to be prepared. George Soros, the billionaire, is claiming that he is the new messiah. Know your scriptures, pray for discernment, bring others to Christ. Tweet
