When a human consumes acid or the stomach makes acid, the only way to neutrailize that acid before it enters the intestines is to have enough alkaline reserve minerals as well as great pancreatic function and even then, odds are your burning holes in your small intestines as well as pulling calcium out of your blood/bones in an effort to keep the acids from killing you. The longer a person does such things, the more the damage and quicker they will appear aged.
