Only while He tarry Tansy. I'm afraid refreshed is clutching at straws on this one, and I suspect she probably knows it. As you become more familiar with your Bible - esp. the NT, you will be able to see where she's going wrong. The NT is quite explicit - when Jesus returns, the door to salvation is closed. I can give you several references that teach this quite clearly.
This is not just an academic debate over the finer points of eschatology either. It has eternal consequences for those who think they can put off a decision about Jesus until after He returns. Or for those who think they have an automatic pass into an earthly kingdom coz of their ancestry.
So yes, this time it is a matter of life or death, and trying to draw parallels with Thomas or death-bed conversions simply doesn't wash. Until that last trumpet sounds, we are still in the age of grace.
