Keep it on for 8 to 14 hours and then shower it off. Strip your bedding and wash all your clothes that you have been wearing since you found you had scabies. They cannot survive long outside the body and will die. They need the human skin to live on. So sanitize your clothes and bedding. Do not get into physical contact with other people. You will transfer it to them. It can take as long as 6 weeks for symptoms to developed in someone after contact. I work at a restaurant and people hug me all the time and that is most likely how I got it. No more hugging for me!
