Re: no problem...

Thats interesting about the heat. I shall try that in addition to the over the counter preparations Im using.

I have found that sunshine - even the hot summer sun of Queensland Australia is not sufficient in killing the scabies eggs in clothing, nor is the hot wah on my washing mchne. Sticking (dry) clothing in a clothes dryer for 20 minutes works though.
For items that you cant sick in a dryer though freezing them for 48 hours works.

Vacuume floors - even the hard surfaces in case youve walked the eggs over them, furniture, shoes, bags etc although shoes and bags can be stuffed into the freezer...)

Wear rubber gloves and (clean) shoes whilst doing all of the above to avoid cross contamination - and do a treatment on yourself first! Remember the clothing you are wearing whilst doing this may be infeted to if possible wear something which can be thrown away or frozen straight afterwards. if in doubt throw it out is my motto (see my story, lol!)

Its worth taking the time out to do this all in one day!

I have never been able to find natural treatments for scabies where I live, and i certainly cant wait around for stuff to arrive from overseas so Ive just used the regular chemical treatments which annoys the hell out of me but at least they do seem to work. (it will be an awful day when the scabies come immune to them!)
