I have to agree with rawrnr. There are now 4 people here who did extensive fasts, and experienced no autolysis. Rawrnr did the most fasting, and was the most obvious candidate for autolysis, but it did not happen for her. I still find it amazing that after 3 fasts of over 20 days each, her cyst did not get digested. I mean, if not after all that, then when???

Surgery is not a good thing, but when 4 out of 4 people here did not experience autolysis, then I have to conclude that it rarely if ever happens..

I, too, may have to go for surgery in the near future. My cyst is under 1 inch, but it is cancerous, and is on a kidney..
