Re: Fasting - No Supplements
Since you are unable to fast too often are you able to look at alternatives.
There is a broth fast (traditionally bone broth - but I am sure there is a non-animal alternative) this still gives you nutrients but lets you digestion have a break to heal other parts and metabolise cysts and the like.
Alternatively you can go full keto. Which I do like.
it means eating 80-90% of you calories in fat only. little to no carbs, and protein. This maintains your body in a state of ketosis - possibly not as high as in fasting, but enough for your body to metabolise the needed proteins in you own body such as cysts. It will allow you to eat and meet family and work commitments, while still cleaning out whatever unwanted gunk you body needs to rid.
Think avocado, ghee, butter, coconut oil, very fat laden turmeric latte, possibly eggs if you eat them - if not then there are plenty of high fat things that will keep you very satisfied and satiated, meanwhile your body is eating fat, and unwanted cells to compensate for the lack of carbs and protein. It takes 3 days but when it kicks it you are actually feeding your brain the most optimum nutrition. its highly beneficial.
one of these two options might be beneficial for the times you are unable to do straight water.
