I think you should try to identify somehow what you have. If you know then you can find a cure.
Stool tests i do not recommend, unless it is covered by the insurance. For me, it was a big waste of money/time. Others here tested with Elisa blood tests (for flat and round worms), you can test for lyme bacterias, they might even find protozoa in stool.
I would stop with ashwagandha! This can stimulate the pathogen, whatever you have. If you use it for a better sleep, try to find a substitute. Avoid all types of ginseng. Keep your immune system strong.
You need loads of positive attitude and perseverance to heal. This, in my experience is something you must have at all times, even when you feel discouraged. Also need to spend lots of time researching and trying. Oh, and i would give up on doctors.
