Absolutely disgusting. And no, I am not talking about the doctor's behavior, I am talking about your need for revenge. To quote, "Who do I call to get his license revoked or suspended or can I even sue him for this?" Seriously? Your doctor has a nervous breakdown because he is scared of what the system might do him and because your feelings were hurt, you want to destroy his career thereby inflicting exactly the kind of damage he feared and made him snap in the first place.

No, doctors do not think they are "God." Doctors these days live in fear. They live in fear of messing up their clumsy government-mandated electronic medical records. They live in fear of unintentionally violating a slew of burdensome regulations. And, they live in fear of YOU, the patient. Obviously for good reason given this post. You wanted to inflict a lifetime of suffering on this doctor because he showed his vulnerability, his frustration, his human-side. Did you know 400 doctors a year commit suicide now? This doctor needs compassion and counseling. What you were trying to do could easily tip a doctor into suicidal thoughts. Tweet
