Re: Peter Wagner boasting of the numbers...

Peter Wagner, one of the mightiest men of God on the face of the earth (according to Cindy Jacobs at least), and one of the biggest leaders in this signs and wonders movement where the dead are raised and countless healings and other miracles are being done daily, Apostle himself and surrounded by who knows how many other Apostles, and he's been having surgeries for skin cancer. And the cancer is just one of his latest health issues. His wife has also had some major health issues for many years now. This statement was four years ago:

"According to NAR-produced newsletters, updates, and prayer requests over this year, the Wagners have been under extensive medical care for a long period of time. Doris Wagner suffered from infectious diseases, placed on hyper- Antibiotics , diagnosed with a heart tumor, and underwent operations on her knee. Currently, she is scheduled to undergo major knee surgery. C. Peter Wagner has a lingering cough, swelling in both legs and abdomen, problems with his heart, and has been placed on blood thinners. He is scheduled for cataract surgery in both eyes."

The track record for healing for these leaders of the "healing" movement is not very good. Bill Johnson has had many health issues with surgery, etc. Bill Johnson's wife suffered from adrenal fatigue and learned about alternative medicine to help. Their son is deaf. Then you have Randy Clark who can't even move sometimes because of crippling back issues, and often has to use crutches, and has talked about having to eventually get surgery for his back. He may have already done that now. Now here is Peter Wagner and his wife with all their health issues. Todd Bentley is a walking heart attack waiting to happen. Here is a report from a couple of days ago on Heidi Baker's husband Rolland:

And all throughout history, you can see over and over that the "healers" and their loved ones were not miraculously healed.

But all these people will continue to shame the sick, take their money, tell all those that are calling them frauds that they just don't believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, yada, yada, yada, and meanwhile they are in the sickness boat that they say no one else should be in. They are rich though. They may not have the health, but they have the wealth. But the poor sick folks following them don't have either because they have been duped into giving their money to them.

And healing is in the atonement according to all these sick people! lol
