Re: Body turns iodide into iodine??? No iodine needed?

Sure

In a perfect world. Us living in the tropics, no hallides, no pollution, pure water, no depleted soils, only organic foods, no emf, etc. Natural sources of Iodine would be ideal and enough.

But we live in a toxic world and imo we gotta block toxins. And unfortunately natural sources r either polluted as well or not strong enough.

But if kelp works for u its great.

For me personally 12,5 mg iodoral ( 10 g Kelp?) was too little to have no problems. 12,5 mg made my TSH rise again and my fibrocystic breasts reappear.
I d have to consume 100+ g of Kelp per day to meet my 100mg iodine.

I already gotta take so many other co nutrients along for Iodide to cause no damage that a little Lugols cant be bad.

There is no way u can get enough Iodide from food to block all hallides , get enough vitamin c to balance out oxidative stress caused by iodine, get 100-500mg of b2 and b3 , get 500mg+ magnesium (in a standard diet) get enough sunshine to build enough d3, enough copper , enough selenium .....on a standard diet, .......
