No, nothing to do with toxicity, I simply couldnt handle the taste of it. And I just believed that my body converted the needed amount from Iodide to iodine.
I always took it in smoothie, juice or whatever I make in the mornings; with extra vitamin C added. For my boys I put it in bread, tea etc as well.
My approach to it all was to make it simple; doable in the busy scedule of mine.
