Lol, well I have to answer this because you just undid everything we talked about. I do not for a second believe that we become perfect like Christ. For we are still in the flesh. There are too many other scriptures that says that we are not perfect...even after the Holy Spirit indwells. Only He is perfect.
How can so many scriptures tell us to "be filled" after we have already received? It's because we don't stay filled in the same sense that you are saying. Jesus even felt the power go out of Him when the women with the issue of blood touched the hem of His garment. It comes and goes...and apparently in degrees. We are told to endure to the end and keep refilling. Having the Holy Spirit does not make everything in life easy or perfect. He helps us to "endure"...so we can be overcomers.
What you are talking about is this new age, "I Am" perfect as God is idea. It does not work that way. If you think you are disappointed at church people...wait till you get a load of yourself after attempting what you say is being perfect. You will fail and you will be depressed and in the end you will think you are not saved. That is what will happen. You either have faith that you are now an adopted child of the King or you are faking the privilege.
