I am 36, and just had the extractions done on my uppers this past Thursday. I was a pre-me baby. Enamel never really formed, and i had teeth that never came in. After consulting with a dentist I trust, we decided that it was the right option for me. And i must say, I haven't been this happy in a long time. The biggest adjustment so far is r e-learning how to smile with my teeth showing. Adjusting to speaking has gone better than I expected, and I feel better. I no longer feel like I'm fighting some kind of infection all of the time. Make sure you research your dentist.
