Also, from what I get from Refreshed's testimony is that she experienced "groanings" in the Spirit along with her tongues. I believe "groanings" in the Spirit is a separate experience from tongues and other gifts, although they can be at the same time as what happened to Refreshed. I know people who have this happen to them. The Holy Spirit comes upon them with groanings from time to time. It is something that they have no control over. They cannot make it happen. It is not like tongues, where after one has received the gift, he can pray in tongues any time he chooses. If they try to do it on their own it is all fake. This has never happened to me so I am just going on what people have said. I had a friend who I could hear do these "groanings" from time to time. It was when I was in college. She lived a few doors down from me in the dorm so the whole floor could hear her. She also said she felt a release of something when it was over. Tweet
