Re: Is this a Powerful Message or a Religious Message?
If I go to a church that I know is in a certain amount of error, I will be praying with them and for them.
You said: "We the church have got to stop being easily offended, worried or embarrassed. That is just to scare everyone off, give up, and feel hopeless. It's just more division to keep the unity and strength of the organized church from interfering with the issues that this country and other countries have."
Division is only caused by those in error whether it is a church group or an individual. I am not causing division when I am fighting for truth. I will not compromise my beliefs to keep unity and strength of any organized church when that church is teaching error. I do not want to line myself up with error. That would and should embarrass and worry me. It's comments like this that cause me to think that you have a certain amount of brainwashing in your brain that needs to be washed with truth. Where in the Bible does it teach us to line ourselves up with error in order to not cause division? This is what cults teach only they do not state it that way. They claim that what they teach is truth and teach their people not to examine what they are being taught. If you study division in the Bible you will see that it is only caused by those in error. Those contending for the truth were not the ones causing division. They were the ones fighting for unity. The Bible has been twisted by many to make people feel guilty and to make people think they are the ones causing division when they stand up for truth which is in disagreement to those in the church who are in error. This is especially true if one is standing against a so called minister or spiritual leader.
Your comment seems good, but a closer examination shows it is not the way of the Spirit. It appears to be a good thing because it will cause the organized church to better interfer with the issues of the countries in their own strength. I'm pretty sure the way of the Holy Spirit is a better way of dealing with issues. His way will not involve compromising truth; His way will not involve deception. God has a higher way than the way of the flesh. We need to seek His ways.
