Vektek, you are not capable of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. You are too saved for that. :) When those in the scripture blasphemed the Holy Spirit by saying demons did what the Holy Spirit did, they knew they were lying. They were threatened by Jesus and were trying to destroy Him. It is true that you say some manifestations of the Holy Spirit are just manifestations of demons, but you are saying this in ignorance and lack of discernment as you are trying to test the spirits. You have a right to test the spirits and should do so. The Bible teaches us to do so. This is not blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

Some people, who know that the Holy Spirit does give true tongues, think others have blasphemed the Holy Spirit when they say tongues are of the devil . This is not true either because they are saying this in ignorance and are unable to discern the truth. They are probably under a lot of brainwashing by false teaching of twisted scripture. This can cause people to not be able to see the truth in scripture. This stuff does not qualify someone to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. These people are just spiritually ignorant in these things, but still seeking God in other areas.

I know some in Pentecostal circles will threaten other Christians, who disagree with them in these things, with blaspheming the Holy Spirit. This is also done in ignorance. They, in fact, are taught that. That is why they threaten. They really believe that. So in this issue there is false teaching on both sides.

You do need to work on how to test the spirits as well as discernment, but we all could use some improvement in those things.

Also, let me just say that I would never myself dare say that tongues are of the devil etc. because I know the truth in these things. Now there are other people who have supernaturally spoken in tongues and because of issues ended up sitting under false teaching themselves to the point that they think their tongues are of the devil. They have renounced it and refused to practice it even though they know they can still do this. They are not committing blasphemy against the Holy Spirit either because they are just confused and ignorant. This is what sitting under false teaching can do to a person if you sit under it long enough. Tweet
