I disagree, the gospel message is not what saves, Jesus saves. The gospel message is true because it came from Jesus. On it's own without someone that can discern it and is not fully saturated with the Holy Spirit, the gospel message is powerless and will never save anyone. The talk that Heidi Baker gave, in my opinion she cuts to the heart of what Christianity is all about. I understand that you have a certain way that you think Christianity should be, and I'm not saying all these preachers are correct or that is the way it should be either. But I do think that even though there is a lot of craziness entering the Church, there is also a lot more true Christianity; people truly dying of the flesh and being born of the Spirit and that is always a good thing.
