Re: Please Help !! - Running out of ideas
Unfortunately, the reality of the situation is, that you probably do have AF (high cortisol symptoms are similar to low cortisol btw, if you get an ASI test and it shows high cortisol that is GOOD, much easier to bring cortisol levels down than to heal the adrenals to start producing cortisol again, high cortisol is the adaptation stage, low cortisol the burnout, needing to live on stimulants and never sleeping) but your life as you know it needs to change. I am also in the UK, and your GP or endo wont warrant anything to do with Adrenal Fatigue, however medically, AF is actually called General Adaptation Syndrome, which is a true medical condition, and if you can find a good GP who knows this conditons its a start.

I remember my years before the ultimate crash, doing exacctly what you are doing and ignoring the symptoms, this may sound a bit cruel, but if you dont start addressing things properly, things wont end well! I am living proof of that.
Dr Lams articales will give you some understanding of what is happening to you, and it is reversible, we have lots of success stories on here, so dont give up but be prepared to make some life changers - gym and footie matches are a complete no no im afraid, you have to stop ALL forms of physical and mental stress that turns the 'adrenaline' switch on.
Good luck.
