I do not disagree with you on getting another test if the results are positive and you feel that they are wrong.
However, if you get a positive result then you should probably trust that result. When it comes to parasites, a false positive is highly unlikely, especially because the technician has to document the result.
If there is any doubt about the issue, the technician almost always leans towards a false result for their own protection.
I also doubt that many people have been misdiagnosed as positive for that reason.
There are, sadly, many visitors here who have been diagnosed as negative when they actually do have parasites. There are many other who have not had a diagnosis because of their doctor, their insurance, or the lack of either thereof.
