I see you are still feeding this thread...

Following a severe trauma (PTSD) I have experienced the psychotherapies available to me at that time. Did a TEN year psychoanalysis, went on effexor 75 mg twice daily following a year on (can't seem to recall that other name now). After two years of taking this sh*t, I went off cold turkey and it has been freeking hell for a long time. But I am a very determinated person and kept pushing my way. Hell lasted a few years, cannot recall, only to find out I was also hit by Lyme's disease. Found out by myself by skimming the net for months. I had just finished a one year weekly therapy of EMDR (sorry, I can't write better english).

It's now 25 years that I am fighting PTSD with therapies that were better than nothing at the beginning although I recall the anger and frustration for not being helped more adequately. I was under impression that I was drowning in the middle of the ocean and those therapists were teaching me how to swim instead of pulling me out. My soul was screaming out for help. I was still young then and they were having good use of little money I had but could not find any other helpful ressource better than that...

About five years ago, I was lucky enough to find Curezone and good people really helped me out. I will keep details in silence, but would like to mention that I agree with you about hypoglycemia as I can see when I look back ( now I take iodine) how good everything I have learned daily for years have put me on track again. Iodine will take care of hypoglycemia and stopped my emotionnal easy crying... I cannot begin to tell you how much this has given me my life back !!! Of course I have a spiritual life and do meditation and pray. It all made me a better person and was helpful. BUT Iodine curing hypoglycemia (read emotionnal issues too) is THE way to start. Do not let go on this. I am no longer in pain. Even though it is affecting the mind, the soul, PTSD is very dramatic to live with and you are right in saying it is also a biologic condition that has to be addressed by all avenues. Thank you for reading me.
