I agree totally with Jurplesman here.

...is the pervading thinking among psychiatrists and clinical psychologists, but my own experience (and that of others I know of) it is in many cases the other way round........
A healthy mind is the result of a healthy body.

Our very thought processes are governed by our nutritional/biochemical status and the reason that most depressives and those suffering with mood disorders, are "treated" by the status quo with biochemical agents such as pharmaceuticals; but the real answer lies within nutrition and the agents of nutrition that are biochemically far more compatible and effective.

This does not mean we should overlook the "psychological" aspects of mood disorders which can be critical in the healing process, but nutrition (in my own opinion and experience) should take first place, if any cure is to be effective and permanent.
