Re: Another useless Doctor AND my boyfriend doesn't believe me
Hi jimzilla
Thanks. I sure hope to feel better!
No I didn't buy a quilt or feather filled item. I don't think it's bird mites. Pretty sure it is what's being called,"super scabies", some large, modern (not microscopic) aggressive species that is permethrin resistant, maybe even ivermectin resistant. There are posts about resistant scabies here and online that seem to describe what I've got.
I added enyzymes to my protocol, still getting die-off but it is terrifying. I have large patches of dead or dying mites that I am trying to exfoliate with a flat-soft bristled brush while showering BUT no sooner than I get some off, another layer die with my next application of lotion.
I mixed up lotion from reading a lot of posts (sulphur and essential oil based) and now I'll just have to keep going. I don't know how long this will take. It is tiring constantly applying lotion and not sleeping from the die-off itching.
I discovered large patches of mites in areas where I had no idea they were-under my arms and around my neck is very painful. Inside my elbows, wrists, behind knees. They seem to most want to live where the blood flow is close to the surface and there are creases in skin or skin that touches skin.
My skin looks red in the worse die-off areas, inflammation, allergic reaction to all the dead mites. I'm taking 1/2 a Benadryl 2xs day, I don't take drugs normally but I am grateful for the Benadryl. It helps.
You're right, keeping up with the environmental protocols is
exhausting. I'm trying to clean stuff, wash stuff, and freeze stuff, and be aware of what I touch. Trying to wash and dry as hot as possible. Meanwhile being a zombie from lack of sleep.
Back in the old days they used to boil laundry in big copper tubs-now I know why.
At least one mystery is solved. I was getting elevated C-reactive protein levels in every blood test I've had for over 4 years. I've had many other kinds of tests and exams, which all were normal-the Docs could never find out where the inflammation was or what was causing it.
It has to be from the mites and their by-products. I have such large coverage and quantity of them.
So far it looks like I've only killed about half, but I could be wrong there. They seem to be able to hide and I may not have discovered all the big "hives" of them yet.
I can see there is a huge difference between trying to cure a scabies infection of under a year, and trying to kill a long time, well-established infection. I'm going to have to switch protocols. They seem to get resistant so fast.
"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on"...sheesh
Thanks for reading all this.
