Re: Fatty liver/liver toxicity
I take a daily herbal concoction of milk thistle, dandelion root, and artichoke extract to support my liver. I have advanced stage AF, so these are very gentle herbs. Liquid tinctures are much better than pills.
I also make sure to drink enough water throughout the day to keep things moving. I stay away from beef, and stick to chicken and turkey with plenty of cooked veggies (especially leafy greens) and brown basmati rice or quinoa. The way my meals are portioned is 70% veggie, 20% protein, 10% gluten free grain. This was my sweet spot, but everyone is different so you've got to keep a food diary and play with your ratios and combinations until you find what works best for you. Some people do good on paleo (no grain) but I tried it and it wasn't for me.
I don't eat a ton of fruit, but I do eat at least one green apple a day, and I use unsweetened applesauce in place of my eggs when cooking recipes that call for binders (like meatloaf or meatballs) or in my gluten free baking. The liver and gall really love apples. Blue berries are good to eat regularly too- lots of good antioxidants.
I also season my food generously with tumeric. Right now I'm gently cleansing
parasites (I use about 1/4 of the recommended dose of
Clarkia daily), and I plan to start the gentle liver cleanse using chinese bitters and gold coin grass. You can find the protocol here:

But I would not recommend
The Clark Flush es or any purge type flush like that if your adrenals are in trouble. This is why I plan to go the more gentle, long term route so as not to throw my body into shock.
when dealing with adrenal fatigue, MODERATION IS KEY for everything that you do. I wish someone would have told me that, as I had to find out the hard way. I did alot of rigorous cleanses and flushes, as well as extreme diets (candida diet, paleo diet, SCD, macrobiotic...and the list goes on) and all that stuff sent me plummeting into near failure.
