Re: Fatty liver/liver toxicity
Liver Cleanses turned me around almost overnight. I did lowfat, no red meat, high vegetable dieting for years. Lowfat = minimal vitamin A,D,E&K absorption which leads to skin, hair and nail issues. The USDA recommends 50% caloric intake from carbs, 25% from protein and 25% from fat. 25% of daily caloric intake of fats is about 1/4 cup of olive oil which is only half of what's used for a liver flush.
The
Liver Cleanses gave me the energy to exercise, which, of course, leads to additional benefits. Now I run marathons, and trust me, without a functioning liver and absorption of fats, I wouldn't be running anywhere.
A number of elements can lead to cholestasis, or impaired bile flow, which can then lead to candida and other organisms taking over the digestive system.
Antibiotics , birth control pills and pregnancy are just three of the potential causes for cholestasis.

Thankfully it is reversible.
