Re: 21 months post, new treatment plan
Jackie please don't give up , you are stronger than you think. I been there and I'm not going to lie, there are still days that I feel bad but not as bad as it used to be, even just 2 months ago. I'm 28 months post removal, Just had a baby and I suffered all of the symptoms while pregnant and still after the delivery. It's been really hard for me too, but I can tell you now I see an improvement compared to 2 months ago.
I heard of others here that got pregnant and felt great, all of their symptoms disappeared, and I was still struggling so much every day not only with mirena symptoms but also the pregnancy. All this was very discouraging to me, I didn't understand why was not only taking me longer than others to recover but also the pregnancy didn't make things better. I cry many many days and nights, I was almost convinced that all of my symptoms were because i had some terminal disease, and was also so scared thinking that I wasn't going to be able and be strong to go through the delivery and to take care of my baby. Now, I thank God that my baby is with us and I can finally say that I'm seeing more good days than I was a couple of months ago.
Jacky, you will get through this, you are stronger than this stupid little device (mirena). There have been other ladies here that took almost three years to feel better. (Aussie Girl),(meat2)? were some of them. Try to stay strong, I know that it's not easy even when you have people that support you. In your case it must be really hard, and it's understandable to feel hopeless. I don't know if you are a believer, but if you are please have faith and fight for your life, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
