I wonder if you couldn't get some home care help?
I know you live alone and have your cats to care for, along with yourself. You could call the doctor's office and ask if they have any services available for your situation. If the help is prescribed by the doctor, it should be covered under your claim.

Someone to help with the shopping and meal preparation, general kitchen and bathroom clean-up and caring for the cat box and their food prep (I remember you talking about their raw food diet).

It is just a thought...
