Thanks. That must have been a painful operation and injury your friend got. There was so much swelling with mine, that I think it added a lot to the pain, which is still not gone but it's a tad better today. His insurance is paying for it, the police found him to be in the wrong.

Not a good feeling to have a broken ankle. I have the horrors of it breaking again, or not healing, and having to go through another surgery and tons more pain, after I've already endured more pain than any other time in my life, by far. It's scary, very scary. It brought me wayyyyyy down. It was worse than anything I could put into words.

The crutches are very painful to my arm pits too.
