Re: Lightheaded and dizzy
Found a way to describe the way I have been feeling, on and off, the past three days, since I stopped the Dr Lam supplements.
Lightheaded but heavy footed. I got that feeling on the way back home today. I feel light-headed and slightly dizzy with a distinct feeling of being weighed down in my feet. As if I could benefit from hanging upside down for a while (and I think I just might lie down and prop my feet up after I'm done typing). I haven't felt that way since starting the Lam program, and I guess now I can attribute the credit to them for helping me out of that feeling. As if I'm about to faint.
Does anyone know what this is, why it happens, and what I can do about it?
It sounds like your blood pressure is bottoming out. Make sure you stay hydrated, which will help a lot. Adding trace element salts or seaweeds to your diet should also help. And of course the stuff I posted before on strengthening the adrenals.
By the way I'm pretty sure I'm anaemic or at least I was when I was a teenager and last time I checked, the inside of my lower eyelids is a pale pinkish-orange. I haven't taken my whole foods iron supplement for a while because i wasn't sure if I should be - although I don't know of any reason why I shouldn't especially if I need it - but I think I'll take one now.
Plant based irons are not absorbed as well, which means you are less likely to overdo it. And if you are anemic and are going to supplement iron remember that calcium , tannins and oxalates ( also found in the Essiac you are taking) block iron absorption. Vitamin C enhances the absorption.
