Yes it seems that no sleep breeds no sleep. I am avoiding antihistamines for sleep because last time I tried that it kept me awake for 48 hours... the same happened with Klonopin which used to always work. I do agree that sometimes taking things at all can be a problem. I'm just taking glycine for now and it seems to help but wears off after a few hours and so I wake up again... at least I think that's what's happening!

Has your adrenal fatigue improved on your current program? It sounds like your sleep was even worse than mine. Which is encouraging that you are sleeping better now!
