Re: Water question
ALB,
you are always welcome to return from the weightloss forum, but it may have escaped your attention that the title of this forum is: Water-Fast-Only-Support-Forum, and not the "drink diet-soda while fasting forum" or "take your multivitamins while fasting forum".
I do not mean to be facetious.
By your own admission you are not an expert on fasting so just to inform you that if you do consume green-tea or multivitamins, or diet drinks or anything except water while fasting then you will be effectively living from a "lop-sided" diet with the consequences of malnutrition that will occur eventually and harmful to health.
However, on water-only the body will efficiently conserve all of its available nutrients and not enter a state of malnutrition until after an extended period of time.
The lack of strength perceived by some fasters are usually of a disposition to succumb to "autosuggestion": an illusory state of mind that has no bearing on the physiology of fasting proper.
Weakness can be felt but only as a consequence of eliminating stimulants such as coffee or tea and so on.

If your desire is to lose weight then that is good if you are overweight, but I suggest you read these on diet sodas and their adverse health consequences as just TWO examples......................

This forum was begun originally as a fasting for health forum and where this can only be achieved on water-only-according to thirst.
You are always welcome here.
