Re: Proof that these ARE gallstones.

"For fun though give us details about these "stones". Were they hard? Soft? Float? Sink? Color? Clear or opaque? What did the larger "stones" in particular look like?"

Some were harder than others. Some squished easily, others not as easily. Some sank, most floated. Colors varied from yellowish/green to brighter green/darker green to reddish and even a bit darker. Pretty much all of the above. No two stones were completely the same. Varied in size from marble sized to the size of a small unhulled sunflower seed. The larger ones were a bit darker overall, although some of them were the brighter green that I mentioned.

I see you are covering all your bases.  But this does show that at least many of them were not real gallstones.  Real gallstones do not float.  And the color is wrong for many of them to be real gallstones as well as having the wrong texture.  Although the description of many of the "stones" do fit the description of soap stones perfectly.

I am still mainly interested in the half inch ones you claimed to have passed.  What was their texture, color, float, sink, opaque, clear?
